Shiptec China 2020 in its 14th presentation, targeted at Shipbuilding and Marine Equipment sectors, is the largest maritime trade fair in the north of China, covering the full range of commercial maritime equipment, facilities, operations and services.

The Organizer/Show Manager will maintain an Exhibitor Service Center throughout the event inside the lobby of Dalian World Expo Center , named “The Organizer's Office & Exhibitor Service Center” (ESC) which will be marked on the “ Map of Locations”. Staff members will always be ready to answer questions, coordinate with the venue owner/contractors, handle problems and be of assistance to all Exhibitors. The staffs that are being in contact with you will be available at the Center, too.
A few Exhibitor Service Counters and Information Counters will be located inside the exhibition hall, from where exhibitors can easily seek assistance or get exhibition literature including Exhibitor's Guide, Shiptec News Daily. Drinkable water is also available.
A Media Center will be set up inside the exhibition hall and prepared for reporters, correspondents, editors of industry magazines/newspapers etc. It will be equipped with free internet cables, and a couple of personal computers, tables and chairs. Please be sure to show your Press Badges to the staff there before you use it. For exact location of the Media Center , please refer to “ Map of Locations ”.
A number of Publication Stands will be set up in both the international exhibition area and domestic Chinese exhibition areas. The Stands are mainly to distribute magazines/brochures/flyers/newspapers and other form of physical publications provided by our media partners. Our staffs in charge will refill the publications from time to time. Any brochures/flyers by exhibitors will not be allowed.
Freight Entrance A: 6 meters wide, 4 meters high, with 1 tons/sqm of max floor bearing;
Freight Entrance B, C 6 meters wide, 4 meters high, with 2 tons/sqm of max floor bearing;
Freight Entrance B1: 5 meters wide, 4 meters high, with 2 tons/sqm of max floor bearing.
All exhibits/freight delivered to Hall A are supposed to enter the hall from Freight Entrance A. The Official Freight Forwarder and On-Site Lifting & Handling Contractor will have their service stands/offices inside Entrance A.
- EXHIBITORS
Exhibitors should register at the Exhibitors Service Center located in the lobby of Dalian World Expo Center to claim their badges and other provisions by the show organizer, clear payment, make enquiries by the specified timing stated above.
On Exhibition days, Exhibitors are permitted to enter the Exhibition Hall half an hour before opening (i.e. 0930 hours) from Freight Entrance A and remain for half an hour after closing (i.e. 1700 hours) to service their stands, and then leave the exhibition hall from Freight Entrance A .
It is essential that you return the appropriate reply form to ensure your name badges are available at the Exhibitors Service Center . No personnel will be allowed to enter the exhibition area without the appropriate badge during stand build-up and dismantling periods. Each shell scheme or each 9sqm of bare space is entitled four badges for the exhibitor's personnel who will be staffing the stand.
- VISITORS
Trade visitors must complete a Visitor Registration Form at the Visitor Registration Area, and get the Visitor's Badge before entry. Visitor can omit Contact Information section on the Form if attaching business cards. Online Visitor Registration System will be open three months before the event. Make sure to print out the registration form after you register online as a trade visitor, and show the form and the registration code to the staff to claim your badge through Pre-registered Visitors Service Counter at the registration area.
We provide Outdoors Exhibition Area to display those bulk exhibits like diesel engines, and those beyond the specifications of indoor exhibition halls, such as lifts, cargo transportation vehicles and so on. Special security services will be engaged during the build-up period and on exhibition days, especially at nights.

Exhibitors can find decent restaurants and dining places that offer Dalian seafood, and other styles of Chinese food and western food close to the exhibition center. Do make advance reservations since every restaurant will be fully booked during the exhibition days. Please go to the Exhibitors Service Center for the contact information of these restaurants.
Cased Chinese food is prohibited from being delivered or brought to the expo center. Usually the security guard will stop you when you are entering the expo center if you bring the food with you and you will be asked to bring and eat the food in food corner outside Hall C, located behind the expo center. However, temporary food stands will be set up in the hallway outsite Gate C, to serve different Chinese fast food during lunchtime of each exhibition day.
• About the hosting city of dalian
Bordered by the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea, Dalian is situated at the southern end of the Liaodong Peninsula in north-eastern China . This is a warm temperate zone with a semi-moist monsoon climate and ocean climate features. The annual average temperature of Dalian is from 8 to 11 C (about from 46 to 52 F) and it has four distinct seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. Influenced by the mild ocean winds from the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea, the city has a good climate with an annual rainfall of 550 to 1000 millimetres, over 60% of which falls during the summer period.
